Analyst, Finance & Credit Life

About the Role

This position supports the Finance & Credit Life team by handling the comprehensive management of Credit Life policies. Responsibilities include policy and system setup, maintaining member data, processing billing and payments, and managing customer communications. The role demands precision, compliance adherence, and dedication to service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage new and existing policy processes such as enrolments, renewals, and cancellations.
• Keep member information and system databases up to date, including modifications in personal and payment details.
• Configure policies with specific plan features, benefits, premiums, and billing details.
• Activate notifications within the system for new policies and members.
• Prepare and send out essential policy documents, including product summaries, insurance certificates, and annual statements.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for newly introduced policies and system improvements.
• Handle payment transactions, including online payments, GIRO setups, and recurring payments for members.
• Coordinate with banks, brokers, and clients on payment and policy issues.
• Provide timely responses to inquiries through phone, email, and shared mailboxes.
• Work closely with other departments to optimize operational workflows.
• Compile and submit Monthly and Daily Business Reports (MBR and DBR).
• Manage premium collections and carry out accurate payment reconciliations.
• Upload and maintain policy-related documents in the imaging systems.
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
• Address and resolve member feedback professionally via all communication channels.
• Deliver administrative support and oversee billing and operational assignments.
• Support additional duties related to policy management as required.
• Lead initiatives to design and manage customized Term Life plans for Affinity group members, aiming to increase revenue and improve customer satisfaction aligning with strategic objectives.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a recognized university degree.
• Prior insurance industry knowledge is beneficial.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail, precise, and effective time management capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Adaptable and willing to learn in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within teams as well as independently.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in the insurance sector performing similar duties.
