- Compile detailed due diligence packages for client reviews, collaborating across various Goldman Sachs teams to update policies and control documents.
- Support strategic projects, including implementing AI to automate processes, refreshing team documentation, and monitoring client-related events.
- Oversee daily client notices for Prime clients, maintain client pricing schedules, and handle account modifications across asset classes including equity, fixed income, synthetic prime, and cleared derivatives.
- Serve as the primary contact between clients and internal Operations and Engineering teams to resolve margin discrepancies rapidly.
- Support onboarding of clients onto Goldman Sachs' marketed products that contribute to business growth and profitability.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Prime Services products and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Work closely with Sales to stay updated on market and exchange developments impacting rates and benchmarks.
- Engage continuously with Client Services, Risk, and Consulting teams to understand key business indicators and client-related agendas.
- Identify and escalate operational or reputational risks related to client activities, with special attention to large transfers, outstanding breaks, and client behavior patterns.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and adhere strictly to global regulatory standards.
- Assist in enhancing risk controls especially related to client escalations and market fluctuations.
Candidate Profile
- 1 to 3 years of experience in financial services, preferably within Prime Brokerage, Operations, or middle-office roles.
- Familiar with the lifecycle processes of securities lending, margin management, and derivatives clearing.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint for communication, data analysis, and presentations. Basic knowledge of AI tools aiding process automation is advantageous.
- Experience using market and financial platforms such as Bloomberg, Traiana, Markit, or CTM is a plus but not mandatory.
- Analytical skills to diagnose operational inefficiencies, detect systemic issues, and innovate workflows.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills capable of translating complex processes for varied audiences.
- Resilience and adaptability in demanding, fast-moving environments with evolving client and market demands.
- Strong sense of ownership and ability to deliver solutions independently.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related quantitative discipline preferred.
