Role overview
This position sits within EY’s consulting practice in Gurugram and focuses on risk management work for business consulting clients. The role is part of the GPS / CNS Risk / Risk Management team and supports EY’s mission to help organizations make better long-term decisions by balancing opportunities and exposures.
About the team and work
EY Consulting delivers client-focused solutions through business consulting, technology consulting, and people advisory services. In this role, you will contribute to risk-related engagements across enterprise risk, technology risk, and financial services risk. The work may involve helping clients strengthen resilience, improve internal controls, support compliance, assess technology-related exposure, and address financial-sector risk matters.
Key responsibilities
- Support risk consulting assignments by applying an understanding of systems delivery lifecycles and delivery approaches.
- Work with business processes, financial products, market risk concepts, and regulatory expectations.
- Assist in identifying, evaluating, and managing risk issues across client engagements.
- Collaborate with different client teams while respecting commercial and legal constraints.
- Contribute practical analysis and solutions for complex business problems.
Eligibility and qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Management, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another related graduation stream. The role calls for 0 to 1 year of post-qualification experience. Applicants must also be willing to travel outside their assigned office location for at least half of the time.
