Job description
Position overview
PNC is seeking a senior AML and sanctions professional to support its anti-money laundering and sanctions compliance work from a remote location within the PNC footprint. The role sits within the AML organization and contributes to a culture that values inclusion, customer focus, and responsible risk management.
This role may be approved for remote work in certain geographic areas. If approved, the work must be performed from a quiet, secure, and confidential home workspace. Depending on business needs, occasional on-site attendance may still be required.
PNC does not offer visa sponsorship for this position and will not participate in STEM OPT for this role.
What you will do
- Help design and support enterprise-wide and business-level AML and sanctions programs aimed at preventing unlawful, unethical, or improper business conduct.
- Assist with executing and overseeing activities required to meet Bank Secrecy Act, AML, USA PATRIOT Act, and sanctions program obligations.
- Review and refresh AML and sanctions policies, procedures, compliance manuals, and front office manuals so they accurately reflect current laws, regulations, and management expectations.
- Define AML and sanctions objectives for assigned business lines, products, services, and regulations, and communicate those goals to stakeholders and business partners.
- Coordinate compliance monitoring efforts and oversee the preparation of compliance reporting.
- Prepare and refine compliance reports and customer risk profiles, identify gaps, propose corrective actions, and escalate issues through the appropriate governance channels.
- Assess AML and sanctions risk, internal controls, and regulatory changes, and help implement improved processes to maintain timely compliance with new requirements.
- Support strategic business initiatives by identifying compliance risks and recommending practical resolutions.
- Act as a knowledgeable resource on how AML and sanctions requirements affect business operations, product development, and customer activity.
Qualifications
Successful candidates should bring the skills, judgment, and experience needed to perform the role effectively. PNC expects the ability to challenge assumptions constructively and independently review analyses, recommendations, and conclusions.
Roles at this level typically require a college or university degree and at least 3 years of relevant direct industry experience. A mix of education, role-specific certifications, and experience, including military experience, may be considered in place of a degree. Certifications are preferred but not mandatory.

A bachelor’s degree is required. No specific certification or license is required for this role.
