Job description

Position Summary

PNC is seeking a Customer Service Representative Specialist to join its Wealth Management team in a remote capacity. The role focuses on delivering strong customer experiences while working within an inclusive environment where employee contributions are valued and respected.

This opportunity may be available for remote work in certain geographic areas, subject to PNC approval. If approved, the position must be performed from a quiet, secure, and confidential home workspace, and occasional office attendance may still be necessary depending on business needs.

PNC does not offer employment visa sponsorship for this role and will not participate in STEM OPT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle specialized customer service work in support of a complex product and service set, serving a sophisticated client base and using advanced processes or tools to assist internal and external customers.
  • Resolve issues across multiple service channels, with a strong emphasis on problem-solving and the CARES service approach.
  • Review, research, and respond to customer questions and concerns related to products, services, and service issues through all supported communication channels.
  • Address both recurring and highly complex service problems, proposing suitable solutions and escalating where needed, including situations that involve higher-level contacts within a client organization.
  • Maintain a consistently high level of customer satisfaction while demonstrating quality-focused service and alignment with PNC values.
  • Record customer interactions accurately and complete service requests in a way that reduces customer effort and follow-up work.

Additional Expectations

  • Be customer-focused by understanding client needs and applying that insight to create tailored solutions.
  • Support risk management by identifying and handling risks tied to business goals and activities in line with PNC’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Experience and Qualifications

These roles typically do not require a university or college degree, high school diploma, or GED, but they do require relevant experience or product knowledge to perform the core duties. In many cases, at least 1 year of related experience is expected. A comparable mix of education, role-specific certification, and experience, including military service, may also be considered in place of a degree.

Education

No degree is required.

Certification and Licensing

No certification or license is required for this role.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $33,750 to $67,500 per year. Pay may vary based on location, market conditions, individual skills, experience, and education.

Application Timing

This opening is generally expected to remain posted for two business days from 04/24/2026, though the company may extend the posting period at its discretion.

Benefits

Eligible full-time employees may have access to a broad benefits package that can include medical and prescription coverage with a Health Savings Account option, dental and vision plans, life insurance for employees and eligible family members, short- and long-term disability coverage, a 401(k) plan with company match, pension and stock purchase plans, dependent care reimbursement, back-up child and elder care, adoption/surrogacy/doula reimbursement, educational assistance including fully paid select programs, and a wellness program with financial incentives.

Paid time off may also include maternity and/or parental leave, up to 11 paid holidays each year, 9 occasional absence days annually unless otherwise required by law, and 15 to 25 vacation days per year depending on career level and years of service.

Additional benefit information for full-time and part-time employees is available through PNC’s employee resources.
