Amazon Fulfillment Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Amazon Fulfillment Specialist to manage order processing and customer supply chain functions for a high-volume Amazon operations team based in Clearwater, Florida. This contract-to-hire role emphasizes managing Amazon purchase orders, tracking fulfillment metrics, and ensuring timely order fulfillment throughout the sales cycle. The role is fully remote, ideally suited to candidates in the Eastern time zone to meet stringent Monday processing deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming Amazon purchase orders via Vendor Central, ensuring precise processing from order receipt to fulfillment completion.
• Manage the complete sales order lifecycle, including order entry, allocation, shipment preparation, and closure within defined timeframes.
• Monitor service performance indicators such as on-time and in-full delivery rates, addressing discrepancies impacting customer commitments.
• Collaborate with warehousing, transportation, and third-party logistics teams to facilitate timely goods movement and resolve fulfillment exceptions.
• Support inventory replenishment and planning by analyzing order trends, demand signals, and forecasting data.
• Maintain accurate records within ERP systems like NetSuite, ensuring alignment between order management and fulfillment platforms.
• Investigate and resolve order variances, shortages, routing challenges, or shipping delays to minimize disruptions.
• Prioritize Monday order cycle execution and adjust workload across the week to fulfill critical deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain or customer operations, including at least 2 years directly managing Amazon order processes.
• Proficient in using Amazon Vendor Central for purchase order management and fulfillment tracking.
• Strong expertise in order management, replenishment, forecasting, and execution within product-focused or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries.
• Working understanding of transportation, warehousing, and third-party logistics operations supporting delivery performance.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite or equivalent systems for order and inventory coordination.
• Capability to work independently in a remote environment, consistently meeting strict deadlines, especially on Mondays.
• Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail when managing exceptions, cross-functional collaboration, and customer-focused supply chain tasks.
