Program Overview
The Amazon Career Change Program (ACCP) is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity intended for individuals ready to transition into a new career at Amazon. This specific stream is designed for ex-professional athletes who bring qualities such as resilience, goal orientation, and teamwork to corporate roles.
Please note the program starts in late October 2026 and visa sponsorship or relocation assistance is not provided, so candidates must already have the legal right to work in the UK. Applications close on July 13.
Program Details
Participants will be engaged in various business-as-usual roles across Amazon’s Consumer business, including positions such as Account Management, Vendor Management, Business Development, Product, and Program Management. The role is full-time, onsite in London, requiring attendance five days a week, with occasional remote work permitted by exception.
The Consumer business unit focuses on enhancing the customer shopping experience, responsible for everything from product recommendations to payment processing and delivery logistics on a massive global scale.
Support and Development

Eligibility and Qualifications
- Applicants must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience as professional athletes.
- Former athletes should have ended their sports careers no earlier than 12 months prior to program start or have been in full-time education or out of the workforce since leaving.
- Must hold work eligibility in the UK; no visa sponsorship or relocation support is available.
- Fluency in English at C1 level or above, both spoken and written.
Preferred Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree is desirable.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to produce results in fast-paced environments.
- Comfort working in ambiguous situations with a capacity to implement change.
- Strong strategic and tactical thinking with meticulous attention to detail across multiple priorities.
- Competence in Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel.
