Job description
About the role
FlightHelp helps air travelers seek compensation when their flights are delayed or canceled. The company has already supported a very large number of passengers through disruptive travel situations and is now adding to its on-call network at Frankfurt Airport.
This freelance assignment is for passenger support and flyer distribution at Frankfurt Airport. The work is strictly informational and centered on helping affected travelers understand their rights and how FlightHelp can assist them. It is not a sales position.
Role overview
You will be contacted whenever a major disruption occurs, such as a flight delay of more than 3 hours. Once notified, you should head to the arrivals area at Frankfurt Airport and assist passengers from the affected flight.
Responsibilities
- Be available on short notice when the operations team reaches out with disruption details.
- Travel to the arrivals area at Frankfurt Airport after receiving a notification.
- Hand out flyers and explain the support FlightHelp provides to impacted passengers.
- Interact with travelers in a calm, courteous, and professional way.
- Represent the company in a reassuring and approachable manner.
- Note that no airport security clearance is needed for this assignment.
What the assignment offers
The schedule is highly flexible because work only comes up when disruption events happen and you are available. Payment is €40 for each assignment, and each visit usually takes about 1 hour. Reasonable extra costs, including fuel, parking, or public transport tickets, are reimbursed in full. There is also potential for performance-linked bonuses and a longer-term working relationship with added responsibilities.
Candidate profile
This opportunity is intended for people living in Frankfurt or nearby. You should have strong reliability and punctuality, and feel comfortable speaking with the public in a professional setting.
Language requirements
Good German skills at B2 level are required. English or other additional languages are an advantage.
Application note
Please include your phone number and email address so the team can contact you easily.
