Job description
Role Overview
As an Airport Emergency Officer, your primary mission involves protecting lives and reducing property damage in crisis situations. You will form an essential part of a skilled team that handles rescue and firefighting tasks during emergencies at the airport. Your duties include operating advanced fire trucks, vessels, and specialized firefighting tools.
Training and Operational Duties
A thorough 3-month Basic Airport Firefighter training program will be provided to equip you with foundational firefighting knowledge and skills. Training aligns with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards for managing aircraft emergencies. After training, you'll be placed at one of the airport fire stations to apply your expertise practically. Job rotations may require you to work at different airport firehouses or regional military airbases, broadening your operational experience.
