Position Overview

We seek a dedicated and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer specializing in Mechanical or Avionics to work onsite in Brisbane. This role demands a proactive, adaptable expert motivated by success and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Systematically dismantle, inspect, test, repair, and reassemble aircraft engines and related electrical and ancillary systems.
  • Perform regular pre-flight inspections of engines and equipment.
  • Execute maintenance checks specifically on Airbus A320, A321neo, and Boeing B787 aircraft.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all maintenance activities.
  • Assemble aircraft engine components, parts, and subassemblies effectively.
  • Test, maintain, replace, and upgrade aircraft safety equipment adhering to safety standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 2 years hands-on experience with Airbus A320, A321neo, and B787 aircraft platforms.
  • Possession of Trade Certificate IV (Aeroskills) in Mechanical discipline.
  • Exceptional skills in troubleshooting, repairing, and installing mechanical aircraft systems.
  • Strong collaborator with capacity to follow supervisory direction clearly.
  • Excellent communication abilities and interpersonal skills.
  • A stable, positive, and proactive work attitude with a passion for safety.
  • Legal entitlement to work in Australia with a valid work visa.
  • Ability to obtain or hold a Red Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
  • Current Australian Driver's License.

Work Schedule and Additional Requirements

The work pattern is a rotation of 4 days on followed by 4 days off including evening and night shifts. Candidates must be flexible with working hours and be available to work in Brisbane.
