Job description
About the team
Cisco’s Digital Communications group produces video and narrative content for some of the company’s most visible communications moments. The work spans executive messaging, employee engagement, social media, company-wide events, customer stories, brand campaigns, and major business initiatives. The team partners with leaders, communications teams, creative collaborators, and cross-functional stakeholders to turn complicated business and technology topics into stories that are easy to follow, engaging, and visually strong. The team values craft, speed, good creative judgment, and the thoughtful use of AI when it makes the work more effective and inventive.
Role overview
In this role, you will develop video content that supports Cisco’s executive communications, internal engagement, social media presence, events, and important business programs. You will work from briefs, transcripts, interviews, prompts, footage, and early concepts to shape them into clear, compelling, and watchable stories. You will also help the team use Figma Weave and similar node-based AI creative tools to improve idea generation, editing, versioning, repackaging, and experimentation. The role blends traditional video storytelling with AI-assisted production approaches to help Cisco communicate in more modern and efficient ways.
Key responsibilities
- Create and refine video assets for executive communications, internal storytelling, employee engagement, social media, company events, campaigns, and brand moments.
- Translate complex topics in business, technology, leadership, and culture into concise and engaging visual stories.
- Apply Figma Weave and comparable AI creative tools to support ideation, editing, iteration, prototyping, and repurposing of content.
- Work closely with communications leaders, producers, editors, designers, motion artists, agencies, freelancers, and other stakeholders to produce accurate, polished, high-quality outputs.
Minimum qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in video editing, digital storytelling, social video, brand content, journalism, documentary work, creative production, AI content creation, or a similar field.
- Practical experience using Premiere Pro or another professional-grade video editing application.
- Experience using AI tools for tasks such as video editing, image generation, sound work, prototyping, and content version control.
- Proven ability to manage several video projects, edits, or deliverables in a fast-moving, deadline-oriented environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Exposure to Figma Weave or other node-based AI creative platforms.
- Background creating video for internal communications, employee engagement, social channels, technology brands, executives, or other high-visibility business moments.
- Strong editorial instincts and the ability to turn complex business, technology, or organizational topics into clear, engaging visual narratives.
- Awareness of responsible AI practices.
Application timeline
The application window is expected to close on 06/26/2026. The posting may be taken down earlier if the role is filled or if enough applications are received.
