AI Transformation Director

Role overview

Alsayegh Group is a major integrated business group in the Middle East, with operations spanning marketing, communications, media, events, exhibitions, production, fit-out, FF&E, technology, and immersive experiences. The company is seeking an accomplished AI Transformation Director to shape and lead a group-wide shift toward an AI-native operating model.

This position is not focused on simply rolling out AI tools. It is centered on redesigning how the business works by embedding AI into core functions such as business development, creative operations, finance, human resources, project delivery, procurement, and senior leadership decision-making.

The selected leader will guide the organization into an AI-first future by defining strategy, building solutions, and scaling initiatives that create measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Create and implement the Group’s roadmap for AI transformation.
• Spot and rank AI use cases with the strongest potential value across business units.
• Develop and launch agentic AI solutions that streamline and improve business processes.
• Build AI-enabled workflows that connect smoothly with the current technology stack.
• Set up governance, security, and responsible AI practices.
• Work with executive leaders to bring AI into strategic and operational decisions.
• Set up and guide an internal AI function, while coordinating with outside technology partners when needed.
• Promote an AI-focused culture through learning, change management, and ongoing innovation.

Candidate profile

• Demonstrated background leading large-scale AI or digital transformation programs.
• Strong command of large language models, agentic AI, automation tools, AI orchestration, and enterprise AI design.
• Hands-on experience connecting AI with CRM, ERP, project management, and collaboration systems.
• Ability to translate business goals into practical technology execution.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Self-starter mindset with the drive to build new capabilities from the ground up.
• Experience in consulting, enterprise technology, AI startups, or complex transformation initiatives is highly preferred.

Additional industry exposure

Experience in any of the following sectors would be an advantage: marketing and communications, events and live experiences, exhibitions, FF&E, fit-out, technology, or hospitality.
