Role Overview

The company is in search of a motivated and highly skilled Solutions Consultant to join their team. This individual will lead RFP and tender projects, engage with senior leadership, and collaborate with global teams. The role demands expertise in strategic advisory, sales and pre-sales, technical knowledge, communication, and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire solution consulting lifecycle from pre-sales through delivery, ensuring solutions meet client goals.
  • Collaborate with C-level executives and senior stakeholders to translate business challenges into technical solutions.
  • Coordinate design and deployment of scalable, future-ready solutions involving cloud, data, AI, and enterprise platforms.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor fostering client adoption, innovation, and long-term value realization.
  • Identify new business opportunities, expand existing accounts, and develop transformation roadmaps to support commercial growth.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to cross-functional teams encouraging a high-performance culture.

Education & Experience

Must hold a degree and possess at least 10 years of experience.

Key Duties Detail

Strategic Advisory

  • Engage with senior executives to understand their strategic objectives and challenges, crafting tailored solutions.
  • Develop persuasive business cases demonstrating ROI and organizational benefits.
  • Offer thought leadership on industry trends to position the company as a trusted advisor.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with C-suite decision-makers.

Sales & Pre-Sales

  • Evaluate client requirements and respond effectively to RFPs.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations showcasing solution benefits.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts to drive growth.
  • Collaborate on pricing strategies and contract negotiations aligning company and client interests.

Communication & Influence

  • Present complex technical concepts through compelling storytelling techniques.
  • Align teams around a shared vision to ensure coordinated efforts.
  • Handle sensitive discussions with senior stakeholders professionally and empathetically.
  • Customize presentations to impact C-suite audiences effectively.

Technical Expertise

  • Design innovative, scalable solutions aligning with best practices.
  • Develop and communicate architectural blueprints guiding solution implementation.
  • Plan phased implementation strategies ensuring alignment with client timelines.
  • Translate technical details into accessible language for business stakeholders.

Project Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional teams through Agile and Waterfall project lifecycles.
  • Identify and mitigate risks proactively during projects.
  • Facilitate stakeholder consensus ensuring collaboration.
  • Develop change management strategies for smooth solution adoption.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Solutions Consultant or similar role in renowned consultancy or Big4, preferably serving Singapore government or major commercial clients.
  • Strong grasp of sales, pre-sales, and client engagement activities.
  • Proven strategic advisory capabilities and thought leadership experience.
  • Expertise in bridging technical and business communication.
  • Experienced in project management with familiarity in Agile and Waterfall approaches.
  • Exceptional communication skills to engage C-suite executives.
  • Ability to guide cross-functional global teams independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on delivering client outcomes.
  • Led deals valued over $5 million to $10 million as a Solutions Consultant Lead.
