AI Transformation Director

Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic AI Transformation Director to lead and implement a comprehensive AI strategy across various business units in a large enterprise environment based in Dubai, UAE. This position focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence, data, and automation to transform business processes and drive enterprise-wide digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a company-wide AI strategy and transformation plan.
• Identify and prioritize impactful AI projects across multiple departments.
• Make strategic decisions regarding building internally, purchasing, or partnering for AI solutions.
• Lead and develop a diverse AI-focused team comprising Data Engineers, AI/ML Engineers, MLOps Engineers, AI Analysts, and Automation Specialists.
• Create and maintain scalable data infrastructure essential for AI applications.
• Oversee relationships with AI vendors and technology partners, ensuring governance compliance.
• Communicate AI strategies, investment proposals, and outcomes to executive leadership.

Candidate Requirements

• Over 10 years in technology leadership roles, with 3 to 5 years specifically in AI, Data Strategy, or Digital Transformation.
• Demonstrated success in establishing or growing enterprise AI capabilities from inception.
• In-depth knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, Data Platforms, MLOps methodologies, and enterprise architecture concepts.
• Experienced in evaluating Build-Buy-Partner decisions for enterprise technology solutions.
• Possession of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a closely related field; an advanced degree or MBA is preferred.
• Background in large enterprise groups, governmental, or semi-governmental sectors is strongly advantageous.
