Role overview
This is a new opportunity within the AI product team for a Product Builder / Product Manager who can lead innovation, rapid experimentation, prototyping and validation to create measurable outcomes. The role is responsible for setting the direction for AI-enabled products and turning developments in data, machine learning, generative AI and agentic AI into scalable solutions that make commercial sense for customers and the business.
You will own the product strategy and roadmap, making sure it aligns with company goals, customer needs and the long-term platform direction, while also driving execution across the full AI product lifecycle. This position blends strategic product leadership with day-to-day involvement in roadmap planning, prioritisation and delivery. The role reports to the GM, Product and is based full time in the Sydney CBD office with hybrid working conditions.
Key responsibilities
- Define, refine and maintain the vision and strategy for new AI products.
- Convert customer, market and business insights into a focused product direction and prioritised initiatives.
- Make product decisions that balance user value, technical practicality and commercial impact.
- Lead delivery teams to execute the roadmap, remove obstacles, manage prioritisation and support on-time releases.
- Work hands-on with prototypes, experiments, customer validation and rapid sprint cycles to test ideas quickly.
- Keep close oversight of daily product execution to ensure outcomes are delivered and value is captured.
- Partner with Engineering and Design to create scalable, maintainable and high-quality product solutions.
- Work across functions to align AI initiatives with broader business objectives.
- Influence stakeholders at all levels using clear communication, evidence-based recommendations and strong business cases.
- Build shared understanding of goals, progress and trade-offs across teams.
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to guide decisions, track success and improve results.
- Turn customer feedback, market signals and performance metrics into actionable insights.
- Continuously improve product practices, team rituals and overall team capability.
