CFOAI is a virtual CFO and accountancy firm based in Qatar, catering to SMEs within Qatar and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The company specializes in technology-driven financial solutions, actively incorporating artificial intelligence technologies such as Azure AI, large language models, and intelligent automation into its products and services.

Internship Overview

This is a 3-month, on-site internship opportunity located at Lusail, Doha. The role entails engagement with actual AI projects that have practical business applications, allowing interns to build, test, and launch AI-powered features designed to address real client challenges. Successful interns demonstrating technical progress, dedication, problem-solving skills, and meaningful contribution may be offered full-time employment at the conclusion of the internship.

This internship is unpaid. However, participants will receive invaluable resources and professional development, including:

Key Responsibilities

• Create and integrate AI agents and assistants using Azure AI Foundry
• Utilize large language models (LLMs) to develop business-oriented applications
• Design prompt engineering solutions and manage AI workflows
• Embed AI functionalities into existing platforms and tools
• Handle APIs, manage data pipelines, and work with cloud services
• Investigate and prototype AI use cases tailored to finance and accounting sectors

Qualifications and Requirements

• Recent graduate with a degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related AI-focused discipline
• Strong grasp of machine learning concepts such as supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, and model evaluation
• Proficiency in Python programming and experience with machine learning libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Interest in large language models, prompt engineering, and practical AI applications
• Familiarity with API integration and data processing techniques
• Self-motivated, curious, and willing to experiment
• Good command of English communication skills
• Must be residing in Qatar

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NLP, computer vision, or large language model projects from academic or personal work
• Knowledge of Azure AI services, OpenAI API, or equivalent platforms
• Understanding of LangChain frameworks, vector databases, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures
• Personal AI projects or a public GitHub portfolio
• Familiarity with data pipelines and SQL
• Exposure to Model Context Protocol (MCP) or AI agent frameworks

• Work location: On-site at Lusail, Burj Marina Tower, 13th Floor, Doha, Qatar
• Duration: 3 months
• Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
