Technical Expertise

• Demonstrated detailed understanding of at least one established data management standard such as DAMA, DCAM, CDMP, CMMI’s DMM, or NDMO.
• Practical experience designing a minimum of three data management functions including but not limited to data governance, metadata management, data quality control, master data management, data architecture, or open data initiatives.
• Proven capability in creating essential data management deliverables like governance operating models, policies, standards, processes, catalogs, glossaries, dictionaries, or tailored data models for client-specific requirements.
• Hands-on involvement deploying key data artifacts utilizing prominent tools or platforms including Informatica, Oracle, IBM, or cloud hyperscalers such as AWS and Azure.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, data scientists, engineers, and business leaders to translate needs into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related scientific disciplines.
• 3 to 6 years of substantial experience designing at least three data management capabilities.
• Proficient English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Capable of managing multiple responsibilities within deadlines and working flexible hours.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the GCC region (50-75%).
• Experience specifically in Data Governance and Data Management implementations.
• Preferred experience includes creating Data Governance Policies, Processes, and Operating Models.
• Familiarity with DAMA and NDMO frameworks is desirable.
• Preferred experience with Data Quality and Data Engineering implementation.

Additional Preferred Competencies

• Background in leading consulting firms or global system integrators is an advantage.
• Arabic language skills are considered beneficial.
• Professional certifications such as DAMA, DCAM, CDMP, or CMMI’s DMM are advantageous.
• Experience in data engineering design, including pipeline creation, ETL frameworks, data models, and pipeline orchestration adds value.
