Role Overview

Star Hi Herbs Pvt Ltd is hiring a full-time Agriculture Officer / Agriculture Executive to support on-ground agricultural activities and farmer engagement initiatives in Orattanadu, Tamil Nadu. This role is suited to candidates who can guide farmers technically, visit fields regularly, track crop condition, support demonstrations and trials, and work closely with internal departments to keep operations running smoothly.

The organization is looking for candidates with a B.Sc. Agriculture degree. Freshers are welcome if they have a solid understanding of agronomy, crop production, soil science, and plant protection.

Responsibilities

  • Offer practical crop-related advice to farmers and support them with suitable farming methods.
  • Visit fields regularly to assess crop condition, detect pest and disease concerns, and suggest corrective actions.

  • Gather field-level information, keep records updated, analyze the data, and prepare reports.
  • Work in coordination with production, procurement, and quality teams whenever needed.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. Agriculture is compulsory.
  • Strong understanding of agronomy, crop production, soil science, and plant protection.
  • Good verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ready to travel frequently for field visits.
  • Comfortable using basic MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
  • Able to work on own initiative as well as within a team.
  • Interested in agriculture and rural development.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and focused on results.
  • A valid two-wheeler driving license is an added advantage.
