Role Overview
We are seeking a proficient Agile Business Analyst to serve as an essential link between business stakeholders and technical teams within our product delivery units. This position involves partnering closely with clients, Product Managers, UX Designers, Software Engineers, and QA teams to grasp business goals, steer discovery activities, define functional requirements, and ensure the smooth software delivery process through User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients and internal teams to understand business objectives, project scope, and identify prospective solutions.
- Lead discovery workshops, gather requirements, map customer journeys, and analyze business processes.
- Document current (As-Is) and envisioned (To-Be) business workflows.
- Create comprehensive functional documentation including business requirements, process flows, and solution specifications.
- Convert business needs into Features, Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
- Collaborate continuously with Product Managers, UX Designers, Developers, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Assess alternative solutions and recommend functional approaches balancing business needs with technical feasibility.
- Maintain alignment, completeness, consistency, and traceability of requirements throughout delivery phases.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Manage multiple Agile projects while ensuring synchronization between business aims and development activities.
- Coordinate and lead User Acceptance Testing, validate implemented functionality against requirements, and track defect resolution.
- Act as the main functional contact for business stakeholders during testing and rollout.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5+ years' experience as an Agile Business Analyst or in related business analysis roles.
- Proven expertise in eliciting, analyzing, and documenting detailed business requirements for software initiatives.
- Skilled in facilitating workshops and directly engaging with business stakeholders.
- Experience in documenting As-Is and To-Be processes, workflows, and functional specifications.
- Hands-on ability to create user stories, features, epics, and acceptance criteria.
- Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Experienced in coordinating User Acceptance Testing efforts.
- Proficient with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Familiarity supporting software projects including web, mobile, and cloud-based applications.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and analytical capabilities.
- Advanced verbal and written English skills.

- Background in healthcare, laboratory, hospital, or enterprise software domains.
- Experience contributing to UX design or customer journey mapping.

Working Hours & Schedule
- Flexible work schedule without rigid start or finish times; focus is on output and collaboration.
- Attendance required at two recurring daily meetings with Australian team members: Daily Stand-up and End-of-Day Sync.
- Meeting times vary seasonally due to Australian Daylight Saving Time; typically between 4-7 PM Mexico City time depending on the month.
- Meetings are held Monday through Thursday to accommodate time differences with Australia.
