Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Agile Business Analyst to be a vital link between business stakeholders and technical teams within our product delivery group. This individual will collaborate with clients, Product Managers, UX Designers, Software Engineers, and QA teams to capture business goals, facilitate discovery activities, translate requirements, and ensure the delivery of software solutions through to User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to comprehend business objectives, project scope, and solution possibilities.
- Lead workshops, requirements elicitation sessions, customer journey mapping, and analyze business processes.
- Document current (As-Is) and future (To-Be) processes.
- Develop functional documentation such as business requirements, process diagrams, and solution descriptions.
- Convert business needs into Features, Epics, User Stories, and define Acceptance Criteria.
- Work in close partnership with Product Managers, UX Designers, Developers, and QA throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Assess solution options and propose functional approaches balancing business and technical constraints.
- Maintain thorough, consistent, traceable, and aligned requirements during delivery.
- Actively engage in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Manage multiple Agile projects ensuring alignment between business goals and technical teams.
- Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Verify delivered features meet requirements and acceptance standards.
- Monitor defects, facilitate resolution with engineering, and oversee retesting activities.
- Serve as the primary business contact during testing and implementations.
Candidate Requirements
- 3 to 5+ years of experience as an Agile Business Analyst, Functional Business Analyst, or Business Systems Analyst.
- Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for software projects.
- Experienced in facilitating workshops and direct collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Strong skills documenting As-Is and To-Be workflows and functional specifications.
- Hands-on experience creating Features, Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
- Experienced in coordinating or supporting UAT processes.
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence tools.
- Background supporting web, mobile, or cloud-based software solutions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, facilitation, and analytical abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Exposure to Healthcare, Laboratory, Hospital, or Enterprise Software domains.
- Familiarity with UX Design activities and Customer Journey Mapping.
- Comfortable working with remote, distributed, or international Agile teams.
Working Conditions and Schedule
- Flexible working hours without fixed start or end times; performance assessed based on deliverables and collaboration.
- Availability is required for two recurring meetings coordinated with colleagues in Australia: Daily Stand-up and End-of-Day Sync.
- Meeting times vary seasonally (Mexico City time): April to early October at approximately 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM; early October to April at approximately 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
- Meetings occur Monday through Thursday to match Australian working days; timing may vary slightly for other LATAM countries.
