Role Overview
This opportunity is for an Agency Development Manager in the life insurance sector. The position is based in Ludhiana, Punjab, and offers a salary of up to 4 lakh per year, along with reimbursement and incentives. The role focuses on building and managing a productive advisor network, driving sales performance, and supporting advisor development.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify suitable insurance advisors and onboard them in line with the company’s business plan.
- Build and nurture a strong, high-performing advisor team.
- Define targets for advisors and ensure they work toward them effectively.
- Consistently achieve the expected sales targets.
- Conduct advisor training, track progress, and share performance feedback.
- Review advisor performance on a regular basis and take corrective action where needed.
- Keep daily records of activity and recruitment progress.
Desired Candidate Profile
- MBA in Marketing or a graduate from any stream.
- Strong academic background.
- Minimum 3 to 10 years of sales experience in finance companies, banks, consumer durables, telecom, or with top advisors / MDRT members.
- Consistent career history with at least one and a half years spent with each company.
- Good spoken English and local language skills.
- Well-groomed and professionally presentable.
- Energetic, assertive, and sales-driven by nature.
- Positive mindset with the ability to stay motivated.
- Capability to inspire people and manage a team.
- Strong networking ability to generate leads and bring in influential advisors.
- Preference for local candidates or those who have worked in the location for at least 4 to 7 years.
