Job description

Job Overview

The role of Aftersales Finance Manager focuses on ensuring the complete financial integrity and operational effectiveness of the aftersales services segment including service, parts, and accessories accessible through multiple branches. This position demands strong oversight of revenue accuracy, internal billing governance, warranty claims processing, inventory management, and cash flow optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate and enforce accurate billing from job cards to final invoices to avoid revenue leakages across all aftersales streams.
  • Oversee internal chargebacks for in-house services, ensuring charge recovery from departments like Sales, Fleet, and Used Cars while maintaining standardized labor rates and markup policies.
  • Manage warranty claims by verifying job validity and claim codes, reducing claim rejections, and maximizing reimbursement from original equipment manufacturers.
  • Ensure complete invoicing of all accessory installations, reconciling with inventory systems to prevent lost revenue and maintaining margin and pricing consistency.
  • Supervise stock levels of parts to minimize excess or obsolete inventory, enhancing working capital effectiveness by optimizing order frequency and stock turnover.
  • Control open work-in-progress jobs to ensure timely closure and invoicing, validating complete labor and parts accounting.
  • Manage receivables and billing related to fleet, insurance, and warranty accounts to reduce days sales outstanding, expedite collections, and mitigate disputes.
  • Ensure branch compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and delegation of authority procedures through audits and performance reviews.
  • Develop comprehensive performance dashboards for efficient monitoring of revenue, margin, inventory, and receivables.
  • Utilize Autoline ERP software proficiently, particularly its aftersales modules, to generate reports, validate transactions, and strengthen financial governance.

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 8 to 12 years of professional experience managing aftersales finance operations, ideally in automotive settings or companies with multiple entities.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in dealerships handling multiple vehicle brands.
