Overview

We seek a specialized HSE Advisor to lead safety, health, and environmental initiatives at a state-of-the-art stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, enforce, and update comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies tailored to stadium operations.
- Perform routine safety audits and risk evaluations to detect hazards, ensuring appropriate corrective measures are implemented.
- Oversee investigations of incidents, determine their root causes, and develop preventive strategies.
- Organize and deliver targeted safety training for employees and contractors.
- Lead emergency preparedness and coordinate with local emergency responders and authorities.
- Ensure adherence to both Saudi Arabian and international HSE laws and standards.
- Manage environmental programs including waste management and sustainable practices.
- Maintain detailed HSE records, reports, and monitor performance indicators.
- Work alongside event coordinators and stadium management to maintain safety during large-scale events.
- Keep abreast of latest industry trends and best practices in stadium safety and HSE management.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and institute corrective actions when necessary.
- Build and sustain collaborative relationships with regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related fields.
- Certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalents.
- At least 5 years’ professional experience in an HSE role, ideally within stadium or large facility settings.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant safety regulations, including those specific to Saudi Arabia.
- Proficiency in risk assessment, incident analysis, and emergency response planning.
- Strong analytical abilities combined with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with diverse teams and conduct training.
- Experience with HSE software and data management tools.
- Familiarity with crowd management and safety protocols during sports events.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as events demand.
- Fluent English proficiency; Arabic language skills beneficial.
- Certified in First Aid and CPR.
- Capability to prioritize tasks in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Proven leadership and ability to promote a proactive safety culture.
