Role Overview
This role involves delivering, assessing, and monitoring high-quality educational programs to help adult learners achieve their learning goals and aspirations towards further education or employment. You will work to consistently improve teaching, learning, and assessment standards to meet or exceed standards set by funders and Ofsted, contributing to targets at both national and local levels.
Team Environment
Within Learn Hounslow, the adult education department utilizes government funding to offer a variety of learning opportunities for adults to enhance skills, increase employability, and support lifelong learning. The team seeks part-time sessional tutors passionate about their specialty, capable of engaging learners effectively, and experienced with teaching and assessment. Teaching may occur at physical centers or via live online sessions. For vocational courses at Level 2 or higher, workplace assessment may be required as per team needs.

Required Qualifications and Experience
- Specialist subject qualifications and teaching credentials of minimum Level 3; Level 5 teaching qualifications mandatory for ESOL, English, and Maths.
- English and maths qualifications at Level 2 or equivalent.
- Relevant teaching, learning, and assessment experience.
