Social Media and Community Manager

About the Role

MYC (Meet Your Circle) is India's pioneering socialising app. We are in search of a passionate Social Media & Community Manager based in Kochi to take full ownership of our social media presence and serve as the key liaison for our Hosts. This full-time position requires an immediate joiner.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and execute MYC's social media calendar, producing engaging content primarily on Instagram and other social platforms.
• Plan, film, and edit various types of content such as reels, stories, and posts that embody the MYC brand character.
• Oversee collaborations with creators, influencers, and partners to amplify brand presence and content outreach.
• Serve as the primary contact for all Hosts by providing comprehensive support before, during, and after every event (Moment).
• Coordinate with Hosts regarding content requirements, promotional assistance, and problem resolution.
• Analyze content performance metrics regularly and pivot strategies accordingly based on audience engagement.
• Ensure that all communications, posts, and interactions reflect a consistent warm and approachable tone, avoiding corporate formalities.
• Work closely with the founding team to interpret brand vision into daily content creation and community engagement activities.

Experience and Skills Required

• Demonstrated experience in creating and managing brand or community-related social media content, preferably within startups or similar dynamic environments.
• Proficiency in conducting content shoots, editing multimedia, and devising effective platform-specific strategies.
• Experience in managing partnerships and collaborations with creators or external stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage and support a hosting network.
• Self-motivated with the ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced startup context.
• Availability for immediate joining is mandatory.
