Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Admission Counsellor to thrive in a dynamic sales environment. This role involves advising prospective students about academic programs, helping them make well-informed educational choices, and supporting them throughout the admissions journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer tailored academic and career advice, addressing questions related to courses, eligibility criteria, admissions, fees, and scholarships.
- Inform prospective students about program details, teaching methods, and potential career opportunities.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive cold outreach and handling incoming queries.
- Convert prospective leads into confirmed enrollments while consistently achieving monthly sales targets.
- Manage application processes meticulously and maintain transparent communication with students' parents.
- Conduct follow-ups on enrollment confirmations and coordinate with the admissions team to meet goals.
- Keep updated on competitive academic programs, industry trends, and emerging career paths.
- Record all counseling sessions and interactions accurately in the CRM system and systematically expand the prospective student database.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in any field, preferably Education, Psychology, or related domains.
- Have 1 to 4 years of relevant professional experience in academic counseling, career advising, or admissions.
- Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with CRM platforms will be advantageous.
- Understanding of educational systems, programs, and career pathways (training will be provided).
- Fluency in English and Hindi is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and persuasion skills to effectively boost enrollments.
- Willingness to work six days per week from the office with a weekly rotating day off.
