Role Overview
This newly created position offers crucial administrative assistance to the Guardian of Safe and Flexible Working. Serving as the primary contact for exception reporting, the role demands meticulous logging, tracking, and timely escalation of issues. It involves daily communication with Resident Doctors, Educational Supervisors, rota coordinators, and management, requiring professionalism, precision, and excellent interpersonal skills. The administrator will analyze data trends and aid in preparing weekly and quarterly reports to drive improvements in working conditions and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily oversight of the exception reporting system, ensuring urgent safety issues are promptly escalated to the Guardian.
- Monitor review deadlines to guarantee timely follow-up actions.
- Handle correspondence and respond to queries, offering first-line support to Resident Doctors regarding the reporting process.
- Cooperate with supervisors and service teams to facilitate prompt processing of payment claims related to exception reports.
- Maintain and update accurate databases with adherence to Health Board data governance policies.
- Compile and support the creation of detailed reports identifying concerns and assisting with action planning.
- Maintain financial records associated with Guardian penalties.
