Join us as an Administrator at our Culham depot to help maintain efficient operations supporting waste collection and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily administrative inquiries for the depot via phone and email.
- Maintain, monitor, and record PPE stock and ensure timely ordering following company procedures.
- Manage distribution of exemption lists, repeated miss notifications, and street schedules to responsible personnel, escalating unresolved issues to the Contract Supervisor.
- Enter daily vehicle waste weight data into company systems accurately.
- Update rectification notices from client performance reports promptly to avoid penalties.
- Communicate with crews regarding daily operational issues and escalate when necessary.
- Respond to managerial requests including report submissions to facilitate depot efficiency.
- Prepare and compile payroll details such as overtime, attendance, and sickness documentation ensuring timely submission.
- Oversee holiday planner board ensuring it remains current.
- Maintain accurate employee records and submit required forms to Head Office as per organizational policies.
- Manage recruitment documentation for the depot and forward completed materials to Head Office timely.
- Control and validate agency staff timesheets, submitting them for approval by the Operations Manager.
- Ensure sufficient depot stock levels and raise purchase orders as needed.
- Maintain and manage petty cash operations for the depot.
Candidate Requirements
- Ability to operate effectively in a commercially focused and time-sensitive environment.
- Strong familiarity with the local geographic area.
- Experience meeting defined service delivery key performance indicators.
- Effective communication skills with capacity for precise planning and teamwork.
- Proficient with business software including Microsoft Office applications.
- Minimum GCSEs in English and Maths; A-Levels or a Degree qualification is advantageous.
