Overview
Ardent Eagle Solutions is seeking a qualified Administrative Officer to assist the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) in strengthening secure export facilitation by conducting comprehensive licensing reviews. This role supports BIS's export control and national security responsibilities through detailed analysis and enforcement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and update party codes within the Party Coding System to maintain data accuracy by creating new entries and correcting errors.
- Verify Entity List accuracy by auditing data within the Investigative Management System Reporting (IMS-R) against Federal Register publications.
- Perform screening reviews of Entity Listed companies using IMS-R to ensure compliance and precise recordkeeping.
- Engage with companies to collect required documentation supporting End-Use assessments.
- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of administrative policies and procedures within assigned domains.
- Review, interpret, and ensure adherence to administrative directives and organizational policies for effective execution.
- Propose new administrative policies and prepare them for organizational implementation.
- Offer administrative guidance and support to management across manpower, personnel management, travel, training, performance evaluation, awards, surveys, and special projects.
- Utilize thorough understanding of resource management systems, program goals, and regulatory frameworks to coordinate and maintain robust training initiatives.
Qualifications
- Around six years of relevant work experience in this or related disciplines.
- Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) or equivalent educational achievement required.
Compensation
The hourly pay range for this position is $34.04 to $53.19. Final salary will be negotiated upon further assessment of the candidate’s qualifications and fit for the role. The published range serves as a guideline and compensation decisions factor in experience, education, geographic location, contract requirements, and company policies. Not all candidates will be eligible for the top end of the scale.
Location and Work Conditions
This is a fully onsite position based at the Department of Commerce, Herbert C. Hoover Building, 1401 Constitution Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20230, United States.
