Job description
About the role
This position sits within the Subscriptions and Customer Growth Marketing team and supports the smooth running of day-to-day business operations. The role is designed for someone who can stay ahead of shifting priorities, remove administrative friction before it affects the team, and use strong judgment to keep work moving efficiently. The team works to strengthen engagement across Google’s product and subscription ecosystem, helping users realize more value from Google’s core apps and services.
The work centers on understanding user needs, creating experiences that improve engagement, and building connected journeys that increase trust, loyalty, and customer value. In this position, you will help enable that mission by supporting leaders, coordinating operations, and handling key logistics across a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
Minimum qualifications
- At least 3 years of administrative experience in a technology or international setting, including core support work such as managing calendars, booking travel, preparing expense reports, and coordinating facilities.
Preferred qualifications
- 6 years or more of administrative experience supporting senior leadership in a corporate environment, along with experience planning and delivering small-scale projects and events from preparation through execution.
- High comfort level with uncertainty, plus the ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and escalate issues appropriately when needed.
- Strong communication ability and a proven talent for quickly earning trust across teams and functions.
- A project or program management mindset, including experience improving or building operational processes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex calendars across multiple time zones and coordinate team events or budgets.
Compensation and benefits
The stated pay range for the U.S. is $96,000 to $138,000 annually. This role also includes a 15% bonus target, additional bonus opportunity, equity, and benefits. Compensation may vary based on job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Additional information
This role is not eligible for U.S. immigration sponsorship.
The employer is an equal opportunity workplace and an affirmative action employer. Employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity, or veteran status. Qualified applicants are considered regardless of criminal history, subject to applicable law. Accommodation requests can be made if a disability or special need requires support during the hiring process.
Responsibilities
- Handle a large volume of essential administrative work with little supervision, including complex calendar coordination, travel arrangements, expense processing, and facilities-related support.
- Improve day-to-day operating efficiency for Patricia and Marie by spotting schedule conflicts or bottlenecks and recommending practical adjustments.
- Organize logistics for important business moments such as staff meetings, Town Halls, and team offsites or onsite gatherings, including technology setup, catering, and action-item tracking.
- Support planning for internal team-building efforts that help the SCG team stay connected, engaged, and supported.
- Protect sensitive information carefully, applying strong judgment and a solid understanding of Google policies.
Team context
As an Administrative Business Partner, you are expected to act as a central support point for your team’s operations, anticipating needs, solving administrative issues before they surface, and helping leaders stay focused on their priorities. Success in the role depends on organization, analytical thinking, business judgment, and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people and functions.
