Job description

About the role

This position sits at the center of team operations, supporting leaders and helping the organization run smoothly. The role calls for someone who can stay ahead of changing priorities, resolve administrative and operational issues before they escalate, and keep managers and team members focused on their core work. You should be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, familiar with Google products and services, and able to use that knowledge to support projects in a strategic way. Strong organization, sound judgment, and clear communication are essential for working with people across different teams and functions.

The administrative function at Google is built around dependable, highly organized professionals who contribute meaningfully to both internal teams and users worldwide. Success in this role depends on handling multiple initiatives at once, communicating effectively at all levels, and maintaining a high standard of execution.

Minimum qualifications

  • At least 2 years of administrative experience in a technology company or multinational organization, including tasks such as travel coordination, expense processing, calendar support, or facilities-related administration.
  • Hands-on experience with calendar management, arranging travel, and preparing and tracking expense reports.
  • Fluent English communication skills to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience providing support to executive leadership.
  • Proven ability to organize priorities and handle several projects at the same time in a shifting environment.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision while remaining proactive and resourceful.

Responsibilities

  • Handle a wide range of administrative duties promptly and accurately, including scheduling, travel booking, expense management, and meeting key deadlines.
  • Support directors by helping them extend their impact across the wider organization and, when needed, represent them appropriately.
  • Serve as a central contact for internal teams and outside vendors while safeguarding confidential information.
  • Organize, coordinate, and run team offsites, events, and other activities.
  • Work with the global Administrative Business Partner team to deliver domestic and international meetings, events, and projects successfully.

Compensation and benefits

The pay range for Ireland is €64,000 to €66,000 per year, plus a 15% bonus target, equity, and benefits. Final pay is influenced by role-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
