Job description
Position Overview
The National Hospital Organization Headquarters is inviting applications for the role of an Administrative Assistant on a part-time basis.
Key Duties
- Providing administrative support including document creation using Word.
- Preparation and management of materials with Excel spreadsheets.
- Copying documents, organizing files, drafting emails, handling telephone correspondence.
- Other general office duties as assigned within the department.
Qualifications
- No specific academic qualifications required.
- Proficiency in Excel for spreadsheet calculations.
- Capability to prepare documents using Word.
- Ability to compose professional emails.
- Previous experience in administrative roles is preferred but not mandatory.
Employment Details
- Employment period: August 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027, with the possibility of contract renewal.
- Probation period of 1 month starting from the date of hire.
- Work location: National Hospital Organization Headquarters, 2-5-21 Higashigaoka, Meguro-ku, Tokyo.
- Working hours: 30 hours per week (6 hours per day, 5 days a week) from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM with a 30-minute break.
- Occasional overtime work for several hours monthly may be required.
- Days off include weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), public holidays, and year-end/New Year holidays from December 29 to January 3.
- Leave is granted according to the part-time employment regulation.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage of 1470 yen, paid monthly on the 20th following month-end closing.
- Commuting expenses reimbursed based on actual costs.
- Overtime compensation for extra work hours.
- Social insurance coverage including health insurance (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's second mutual aid association), welfare pension, employment insurance, and workers' accident compensation insurance.
