Job description
Role overview
This post offers clerical and reception support to the Diabetes & Endocrinology team at Nevill Hall Hospital. The role involves handling general enquiries and completing day-to-day administrative work for the department.
This is a fixed-term appointment for 2 years from the start date, created to meet service requirements.
Main duties
- Support the Diabetes & Endocrinology clinics with a range of administrative tasks.
- After completing induction, build current knowledge of outpatient clinic processes so you can schedule, change and cancel appointments and deal with simple patient queries.
- Develop a working understanding of clinic protocols and any specialty-specific standards.
- Update waiting list records, contact patients by phone, answer calls and arrange appointments through the Myrddin Patient Administration System.
