Overview
The Royal Women’s Hospital, one of Australia's most respected tertiary care centers dedicated to women and newborn health, is seeking a part-time Administration Officer to join its Maternal and Fetal Medicine Teams. This ongoing role (0.8 EFT) based at the Parkville campus supports multiple specialist maternity services, requiring presence on a rotating Monday to Friday schedule, including essential support on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Role and Team
The Maternal and Fetal Medicine Service offers comprehensive multidisciplinary care for women facing complex or high-risk pregnancies. The team includes obstetricians, midwives, physicians, sonographers, social workers, and allied health professionals collaborating to provide evidence-based, coordinated care. The Administration Officer will facilitate smooth clinic operations by managing patient bookings, registrations, and ensuring professional, compassionate service and efficient clinic flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage scheduling logistics for various specialist maternity clinics.
- Deliver excellent reception, telephone, and administrative assistance to patients, families, and clinical staff.
- Ensure clinic operations run efficiently by maintaining accurate patient records and supporting patient flow management.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to help coordinate patient care pathways and enhance patient experiences.

- Pro-rata salary range $69,425 to $76,764 per annum plus superannuation and salary packaging benefits up to $11,660 annually.
