Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Administration Assistant for Front Reception at Shalom College in Bundaberg, working 38 hours per week with a term-time continuing status. The role provides a warm welcome to parents and visitors and carries out various key administrative tasks essential to college operations. Casual administration assistant positions are also available and applicants are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to Catholic Education values, excellent organizational and time management abilities, and effective communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in computer usage within school environments is necessary along with the ability to handle sensitive student information confidentially. The role requires either independent or collaborative work skills, adaptability, genuine concern for student wellbeing, and flexibility in a changing educational environment. Certificate-level tertiary qualifications or equivalent relevant experience are desirable. Familiarity with student management systems like TASS is advantageous. Candidates should be eager for continuous professional development and contribution to the educational community.
