About Psicon
Psicon is a specialist neurodevelopmental service that collaborates with various NHS trusts to provide autism and ADHD assessments. Although independent, the majority of our work supports the NHS. Psicon prioritizes delivering top-tier psychological support and healthcare through innovative methods to uphold industry-leading standards.
Role Overview
We are seeking experienced medical administrators to join our ADHD service team. Candidates shortlisted will be invited to participate in a 'Meet the Team' recruitment event at our Burgate Operations Centre in July or August, requiring a minimum attendance of three hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily management of the ADHD medication review caseload, coordinating care across all age groups based on priority needs.
- Track appointment gaps, missed follow-ups, and other care pathways, escalating priorities to the wider team with input from the ADHD lead.
- Monitor prescription requests to ensure adequate availability of prescription writing slots and arrange coverage during clinician absences or illnesses.
- Identify patients of incorrect age or outside service area and ensure their care is appropriately transferred.
- Manage clients pending discharge by coordinating with clinicians to finalize the process.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in customer-focused administrative roles.
- Strong interpersonal skills and keen judgment.
- Track record of meeting KPIs and deadlines while juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality service and exemplary client care.
- Exceptional communication skills capable of engaging diverse groups.
- Aptitude for building and sustaining productive professional relationships with colleagues.
Work Arrangement
This position is based centrally in Canterbury, Kent. Please note, there is no onsite parking available. The role has core hours from 09:00 to 17:00 with a hybrid schedule of three days in-office and two days remote work, totaling 37.5 hours per week.
