Job description

About Psicon

Psicon is a specialist neurodevelopmental provider that works with a range of NHS trusts to deliver autism and ADHD assessments. Although the organisation operates independently, most of its work supports the NHS. The company focuses on delivering high-quality psychological support and healthcare through an innovative service model.

About the Role

The Relationship & Engagement Lead will play a central role in supporting and developing Psicon’s Associate Clinician Network. Working alongside the Clinician Support Team Manager, the Head of Associate Clinician Network and wider operational teams, this person will help strengthen clinician relationships, improve engagement, and contribute to the reliable delivery of clinical activity across multiple sites and remote services.

Key Duties

  • Serve as a primary contact for associate clinicians and help create a positive experience across the network.
  • Partner with the Clinician Support Team Manager and operational colleagues to support the efficient running of clinical activity for both on-site and remote services.
  • Organise regular engagement activities for clinicians, such as virtual meetings, annual reviews, CPD sessions and upkeep of the clinician resource hub.
  • Assist clinicians with systems, processes and day-to-day queries by providing clear, practical and timely guidance.
  • Work with Quality, Operations, Compliance, clinic coordinators and bookings teams to resolve issues, support complex appointments and maintain service standards.
  • Track adherence to internal procedures and protocols, and escalate concerns when needed.
  • Support audits and help ensure equipment, records and working practices remain aligned with company, contractual and regulatory expectations.

What Psicon Is Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring strong people skills, a supportive approach and the confidence to work across clinician, operational and support functions. They should be organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing several priorities in a busy environment. Experience with coordinating meetings, events, reviews or similar network activity is important, as is confidence using IT systems and helping others work through processes effectively. The role also requires a strong respect for confidentiality, safeguarding, equality, diversity and professional standards, along with a values-led approach that reflects trust, integrity, commitment and kindness.

Working Arrangements

This position is based in central Canterbury, Kent, with no onsite parking available. Standard working hours are 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, on a 37.5-hour contract. The role follows a hybrid pattern with two office days each week, specifically Tuesday and Thursday, and three days working from home. New starters will initially be required to work full time on site in Canterbury until they have met the required core competencies.

Working at Psicon

Psicon sees its people as an essential part of service delivery and invests in creating opportunities for employees to develop and reach their potential. The organisation aims to provide a lively, supportive and challenging workplace built around its values of trust, integrity, commitment and kindness. Its goals include delivering the best possible customer service, achieving efficient and effective clinical work, building a thriving and engaged workforce, and maintaining a truly inclusive organisation.

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Psicon welcomes candidates from all backgrounds and is committed to a workplace where diverse perspectives are valued and everyone can contribute and succeed. The organisation works to remove barriers in the recruitment process wherever possible and encourages applicants to get in touch if any support, accessibility help or interview adjustments are needed.

  • Flexible leave arrangements, including the option to buy or sell extra days.
  • Well-being days.
  • Birthday lie in.
  • Pension scheme with the option to top up through salary sacrifice.
