Role overview
This position combines accounts receivable work with general office support for a growing international manufacturer that produces premium equipment for forestry, land management, construction, and infrastructure markets. The company is recognized for engineering quality, innovation, customer-oriented solutions, and a strong focus on operational excellence.
The role reports to the Accounting Supervisor and supports both financial processing and day-to-day office operations. It is well suited to someone who can balance AR responsibilities with administrative tasks in a busy, collaborative environment.
Accounts receivable duties
- Record customer payments, post them accurately, and complete reconciliations.
- Prepare daily bank deposits and process them in a timely manner.
- Track overdue balances and assist with collections to help maintain cash flow.
- Research and resolve discrepancies in account records.
- Handle AR-related questions from customers and internal departments.
- Reconcile company credit card activity and related expenses.
- Process customer credits and returns, including RGA-related items.
- Review credit applications and set up new customer accounts.
- Create equipment invoices and assist with parts invoicing when needed.
- Provide responsive, professional service to both internal teams and external customers.
Office support responsibilities
- Serve as backup reception coverage by answering calls and welcoming visitors.
- Support employees and guests with general office needs.
- Help with routine administrative tasks to keep office operations running smoothly.
Qualifications and requirements
- 3 to 5 years of practical experience in accounts receivable and/or office administration.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- An associate's or bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a similar field is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Clear written and spoken communication skills.
- Strong organization and careful attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while handling several priorities and deadlines.
- Background in manufacturing or an industrial setting is an added advantage.
