Job description
Overview
This position involves verifying the accuracy of financial data including figures, postings, and documents. The role requires recording, accessing, and analyzing computerized financial information accurately. Responsibilities also include managing and securing cash funds according to hotel policies, as well as organizing and maintaining all related financial records in line with confidentiality and document retention standards.
Key Duties
- Prepare, maintain, and disseminate various statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
- Perform audits and reconciliations on revenue postings to ensure accuracy.
- Adhere strictly to company safety and security protocols, report unsafe conditions, and be vigilant of suspicious persons on property premises.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance, safeguard proprietary information, company assets, and ensure privacy of guests and colleagues.
- Greet and acknowledge guests warmly, anticipate service needs, assist guests with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, including telephone etiquette and accurate documentation.
- Foster positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to colleagues’ concerns.
- Comply with quality assurance standards and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Handle physical tasks involving moving items weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: No prior related work or supervisory experience required.
- Licenses/Certifications: None required.
