Accounts Receivable Analyst - US Healthcare Medical Billing (Non-Voice, Day Shift)

Position Overview

Novigo Integrated Services is seeking a diligent Accounts Receivable (AR) Analyst specialized in denial management for US healthcare medical billing. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai with day shift hours from 9 AM to 6 PM, requiring at least one year of prior experience in physician billing AR follow-up and denials. Candidates must be able to join immediately or within ten days.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct follow-up on unpaid insurance claims within the US healthcare system to facilitate payment.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve claim denials by managing at least five common denial codes effectively.
• Process claim forms accurately, primarily HCFA-1500 forms, ensuring compliance with billing requirements.
• Submit claim appeals and navigate payer websites to monitor claim status.
• Utilize knowledge of CPT codes, Evaluation & Management (E&M) coding, and modifier application.
• Handle claims related to HMO and PPO insurance plans efficiently.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in AR follow-up and denial management, specifically in physician billing.
• Strong grasp of denial codes and the workflow to address them.
• Good written and verbal communication abilities.
• Familiarity with medical billing, claim appeals, and payer portals.
• Understanding of modifier usage and office visit CPT codes.
• Applicants must not have experience exclusively in medical record upload, eligibility checking, rejection handling, claim status checking, credit balance, denial capture only, or patient aging reports.
• Candidates with career gaps exceeding six months or experience limited to anesthesia, dental, durable medical equipment (DME), hospital billing, ambulance billing, or skilled nursing facilities (SNF) are not suitable.
• This role excludes candidates with experience solely in adjudication unrelated to physician billing.

Additional Details

• Workdays are Monday to Friday, 11 AM to 5 PM for interviews; working hours are 9 AM to 6 PM.
• Work is strictly from office premises located at Ekkattuthangal, Chennai.

• Salary is performance-based and commensurate with experience, ranging between INR 125,000 and INR 300,000 annually.
