Acre Security is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant to join its Dublin finance team. The position sits within a company focused on modern security technology and offers the chance to contribute to cash management, reporting accuracy, and process improvement in a fast-moving environment.

Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of the accounts receivable process, including the accurate posting of customer receipts, account matching, and support for strong cash collection results.
- Use NetSuite to manage AR activities and maintain accurate customer account records.
- Support month-end closing tasks by preparing AR reporting, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Work with commercial colleagues to address billing concerns and improve debtor management practices.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with customers to quickly resolve invoicing and payment issues.
- Create and update customer records in NetSuite.
- Coordinate with the Credit Manager on credit limits, payment terms, and overdue invoices.
- Prepare and issue credit notes where needed.
- Assist with audits by supplying supporting documents and explanations.
- Contribute to wider finance work and support ad hoc accounting initiatives when required.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit control, or a comparable finance position.
- Solid working knowledge of AR workflows, reconciliations, and month-end finance processes.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong personal organisation.
- Hands-on experience with ERP or accounting software, along with advanced Excel capability.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions and with external customers.
- A finance or accounting qualification is preferred; candidates who are part-qualified or qualified through experience will also be considered.
- Self-driven approach with strong problem-solving ability and a mindset for ongoing improvement.
