About the Role

Join Tonkin + Taylor's vital Finance team that supports operations across New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific. This role focuses on managing the accounts payable function, ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and queries are addressed efficiently, enabling smooth financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately processing supplier invoices and keeping precise records.
  • Overseeing invoice approval workflows and following up on pending approvals.
  • Handling supplier inquiries and resolving payment-related issues promptly.
  • Maintaining and updating vendor information securely.
  • Supporting domestic and international payment runs.
  • Assisting with intercompany transactions and account reconciliations.
  • Identifying and recommending improvements in financial processes and systems.
  • Collaborating with team members across the business to ensure timely financial administration.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in accounts payable, finance administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Adept at fostering positive relationships with colleagues and suppliers.
  • Problem-solving mindset with practical solution orientation.
  • Comfortable with using systems and eager to learn new technology.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines.
  • Proactive ownership of tasks and consistent follow-through.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience with ERP or finance software is advantageous; however, a motivated attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.
