Position Overview
We are seeking a diligent Accounts Officer based in Bharuch to join our finance team. This role demands proficiency in managing payments receipt, ensuring accurate and timely depositions, and detailed financial reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
- Timely recording of all payment receipts.
- Accurate deposit processing of admissions, instalments, and other payments.
- Regularly monitor essential financial metrics and prepare detailed reports.
- Ensure prompt resolution of pending transactions on a First-In-First-Out (FIFO) basis.
- Timely banking of all fees including cash, cheques, and demand drafts.
- Manage post-dated cheques (PDCs), ensuring timely deposits and postings.
- Daily reconciliation of cash with accounts and bank statements.
- Address payment or receipt inquiries from students and their parents comprehensively.
- Coordinate with the Head Office in Delhi concerning upcoming programs, admission tests, and promotional schemes.
- Undertake designated administrative duties as required.
Working Hours and Schedule
The position is full-time with working hours from 10 am to 7 pm. The office operates on Saturdays and Sundays, with one weekday off between Monday and Friday.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold a graduation degree to be considered for this role.
