Accounts Executive

Role Overview

The Accounts Executive will oversee stock audits, inventory management, and logistics reporting to guarantee precise inventory tracking, efficient stock flow, and economical transportation operations. This role requires compiling MIS reports, evaluating inventory and transport data, collaborating with various branches and stakeholders, ensuring adherence to internal control measures, and assisting the management with actionable recommendations for process enhancements and cost reductions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quarterly stock audits comparing physical inventory against system data to detect discrepancies.
• Identify inventory variances such as shortages or surpluses and coordinate prompt corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with internal inventory control policies and submit audit reports with suggested corrective measures punctually.
• Generate and distribute weekly MIS reports detailing stock movement across locations.
• Analyze trends in incoming, outgoing, aging, and closing stock and flag slow or non-moving items for management review.
• Maintain data consistency and validate information prior to report submission, addressing stakeholder queries as needed.
• Liaise with the operations team to fulfill transport reporting requirements accurately and on time.
• Manage transport data including dispatch records, freight, and delivery details, along with monitoring transporter performance and freight costs.
• Regularly prepare branch-level transport costing reports, scrutinize cost variances, and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Support budgeting, cost control, and logistics-related financial initiatives by sharing insights with finance and operations teams.
• Ensure all reports are accurate, timely, and complete, maintaining thorough documentation for audits and management review.
• Recommend and implement process improvements in inventory and logistics reporting procedures.

Compensation

The remuneration for this role ranges between 20000 to 25000 INR monthly.
