Job description
Role Overview
DSD & Co., a Chartered Accountancy practice, seeks a meticulous Accounts and Taxation Executive with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. The selected candidate will manage comprehensive accounting and tax-related functions for a varied client base.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage preparation and submission of GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9/9C
- Perform reconciliation of GST data alongside accounting records
- Execute daily bookkeeping and accounting entries using Tally or Busy Accounting Software
- Prepare financial statements and assist with account finalization processes
- Conduct detailed balance sheet review and Management Information System (MIS) reporting
- File Income Tax Returns for individuals and business entities
- Calculate TDS, file returns such as Form 26Q and 24Q, and ensure compliance
- Support tax planning and provide advisory services to clients
Candidate Profile
- Educational qualifications include B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, or CMA Inter with 1 to 3 years of applicable experience
- Strong proficiency in Tally ERP/Prime and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Hands-on experience with GST portal, Income Tax portal, and TRACES system
- Analytical aptitude combined with problem-solving capabilities to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Ability to think innovatively and go beyond routine accounting tasks
- Effective communication skills and multitasking ability in handling multiple client accounts
Additional Advantages
- Previous work experience in a Chartered Accountancy firm or similar accounting setting
- Familiarity with tax audits, notices, and assessment procedures
- Knowledge of automation tools or Excel shortcuts to optimize accounting processes
