Job Overview
This position involves managing the sales and support cycle for accounting software, focusing on TallyPrime products. The role covers lead generation, customer demonstrations, sales closure, account management, renewals, and customer onboarding, ensuring customer satisfaction and growth through value-added services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify potential customers among mid-size businesses and multi-user setups through strategic outreach like referrals and influencer connections.
- Provide tailored demonstrations emphasizing TallyPrime's features that meet specific business challenges and goals.
- Manage the sales process from evaluation to closure, including negotiation and coordinating with implementation teams for smooth onboarding.
- Maintain proactive contact with existing accounts to nurture relationships, increase product usage, and facilitate renewals.
- Lead renewal discussions early and promote value-added service upselling by aligning solutions with customer workflows.
- Assist clients in upgrading to the latest software versions and enable adoption of new functionalities for optimal benefit.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and feedback in CRM software TT2.0; ensure consistent task completion and CRM hygiene.
- Participate actively in campaigns and customer engagement programs to promote product upgrades and user engagement.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Must hold a graduate degree in any discipline; preference for commerce or business majors.
- At least one year of experience in sales or customer management related to Tally software or equivalent.
- Fluent in the local language; good proficiency in spoken and written English is desirable.
- Strong familiarity with TallyPrime and associated products.
- Proficient in consultative selling techniques, handling customer queries effectively, cross-selling and upselling, delivering demos, and CRM system expertise.
Compensation
The monthly salary range for this role is between 15500 and 37000 INR.
Location
This position is based in Rajkot, Gujarat, India, and requires on-site presence.
