Job description
Role overview
This position covers general accounting, clerical support, reporting, and financial result preparation in line with local as well as global requirements. The role serves as the main contact for bookkeeping, tax compliance, and finance-related coordination. It also includes ownership of daily accounting activities, preparation of financial statements, support for tax compliance, and communication with tax authorities.
Core duties
- Manage routine accounting activities, including ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, payroll handling, and preparation of regular financial reports.
- Prepare, issue, and verify bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial documents in accordance with established procedures.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including deferred tax calculations and related reconciliations.
- Review tax rules and calculation methods to assist tax advisors and ensure accurate compliance work.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing required information and documentation.
- Coordinate directly with regulatory bodies, tax authorities, and other relevant local stakeholders.
- Reconcile bank accounts, post entries, balance general and subsidiary ledgers, process payments, and contribute to monthly and annual closing activities.
Knowledge and technical capability
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, procedures, and requirements.
- Experience with transactional accounting and financial closing processes.
- Working knowledge of tax law, tax accounting, and audit-related practices.
- Understanding of internal control frameworks.
- Ability to work with SAP FI/CO/PS and Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications
