About the Company and Positions
Smart Consultancy is seeking committed finance professionals to join their team as Junior and Senior Accountants. The Senior Accountant position is tailored for Chartered Accountants or graduates who can oversee the financial operations and close accounts, while Junior Accountants will assist in day-to-day accounting functions.
Senior Accountant Role
- Manage finalization of Trial Balance, Profit & Loss statements, and Balance Sheet.
- Ensure full compliance with GST, Income Tax (TDS/TCS), and statutory Tax Audits.
- Provide monthly and quarterly MIS reports along with cash flow analyses for management.
- Serve as the main liaison for both Internal and External audits.
- Supervise and verify tasks performed by junior accounting staff.
Junior Accountant Role
- Perform daily accounting entries for purchases, sales, receipts, and payments using Tally or ERP software.
- Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements and manage routine banking operations.
- Organize and maintain all financial documentation including invoices, vouchers, and bills.
- Manage stock entries and basic inventory documentation.
- Support Senior Accountant in audit preparations and filing of GST returns.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Senior Accountant: Chartered Accountant (ICAI member mandatory) or minimum graduate with post-qualification experience of 0–7 years.
- Junior Accountant: Degree in B.Com, M.Com, or MBA (Finance) with 1–3 years experience; skilled freshers may also apply.
- Strong proficiency in Tally Prime, advanced MS Excel, and MS Word.
- Exceptional attention to detail and precise record-keeping abilities.
- Maintaining confidentiality of financial data and effective communication skills with team and external parties.
Compensation
- Senior Accountant salary range: ₹50,000 to ₹1,00,000 per month, negotiable based on experience.
- Junior Accountant salary range: ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 per month.
Additional Information
Both positions are based in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and require working onsite.
