About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Accountant and Finance Advisor to handle the financial and accounting functions in our automobile components manufacturing firm. This role involves managing accounting records, taxation, statutory compliance, budgeting, financial reporting, and delivering strategic financial guidance to promote business growth and enhance operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and updated books of accounts.
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and monthly management reports.
- Manage statutory compliance concerning GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, and ESI.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable along with cash flow monitoring.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ledger verifications.
- Develop budgets, conduct cost analysis, and draft financial forecasts.
- Assist management with financial planning and cost control strategies.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, vendors, and government bodies.
- Keep track of inventory valuation and manufacturing cost records.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal company policies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com or M.Com).
- Professional qualifications such as CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent preferred.
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or automobile sectors is advantageous.
- Comprehensive knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and statutory compliance regulations.
- Proficiency with Tally Prime, MS Excel, and ERP or accounting software tools.
- Strong analytical capabilities, communication skills, and problem-solving aptitude.
