Accountant

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team at Global Engineering Services in Chandigarh. The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping precise financial records, managing payables and receivables, processing invoices and payments, and performing bank reconciliations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain and prepare thorough financial records and reports.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently.
• Process invoices, payments, and perform bank reconciliations regularly.
• Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy planning.
• Ensure all tax regulations and statutory compliances are met.
• Prepare and submit GST, TDS, VAT, or other relevant tax filings as required.
• Oversee cash flow management and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
